Freestyle™ Recycled Interlocking Floor Tile Announced By Selectech Flooring FreeStyle™, a recycled interlocking floor tile that quickly and easily covers any existing or problem floor, has been introduced by SelecTech Flooring. A proprietary interlocking edge, flexible resilient waterproof base, 10-year wear warranty and a simple, proprietary Place 'N Go process allow FreeStyle to be placed directly over problem subfloors with high moisture content, cracks or irregular surfaces. It can also be placed directly over and without removing most existing flooring, including asbestos and asphalt tile, resilient, wood, VCT, concrete and low-profile/direct-glue-down carpet.Formulated for commercial, retail, institutional and residential applications, FreeStyle requires minimal subfloor prep, no adhesive and no special tools, installation skills or maintenance. Made with 92% recycled materials, it is 100% cradle-to-cradle recyclable and is eligible for LEED points. FreeStyle's cost is up to 100% deductible in its first year. FreeStyle floor leasing programs are also available.FreeStyle requires no adhesive, moisture barrier or extensive subfloor prep, can be placed at rates of up to 400 square feet (37 square meters) per man-hour, and has one of the lowest in-place costs when compared to other hard-surface flooring. Once pressed together, FreeStyle's interlocking edges become invisible, forming a uniform appearance that
can be walked-on immediately. Tiles remain in place under heavy foot traffic and point loads of up to 750 p.s.i. (52.8 kg/cm²) and will not shift or separate even when placed over irregular surfaces. FreeStyle contains an anti-microbial agent that resists bacteria, fungi, mold and mildew formation. FreeStyle tiles can be easily removed and replaced if damaged without cutting, as well as moved and reused for temporary or seasonal applications.18" x 18" (0.21 square meter) FreeStyle tiles consist of a proprietary PVC composite made with 92% recycled plastics…including recycled carpet… a decorative top layer of printed virgin materials and a 20 mil luxury vinyl wear layer. FreeStyle's resilient composition reduces noise, is chemical and stain-resistant, meets ADA slip-resistance requirements and provides for better comfort under foot.FreeStyle patterns include slate-look Classic Stone in six colors (Heather, Terra Cotta, Beige, Taupe, Slate Blue and Hunter Green) and wood-grain Nature's Wood, available in Red Oak, Cherry, Maple and Pear. Custom FreeStyle colors, patterns and logos are also available.
